When I finally made the decision to start a food blog, it was as if all the stars had aligned. I love writing, I love eating, I love learning how to cook and I love food. There’s really nothing else I would rather be spending my leisure time doing (besides playing with my dog, Toby).
I’ll be honest: setting up a blog wasn’t nearly as smooth a process as I thought it would be. In fact, it took months of research, trials and errors, tweaking and, well, learning.
That didn’t stop me, though. And it certainly shouldn’t stop you.
If you have a passion or interest that you would like to build your own blog about, I’ll be sharing what I’ve learnt along the way so you can pursue your dreams too!
I want to put all my cards out on the table. All the links on this page are affiliate links, meaning I do make a small commission should you decide to go ahead and purchase any of them. Having said that, they are resources that have helped me personally on my food blogging journey and I have no regrets ever choosing them.
If I had to start all over again, I would still choose the same path because I trust them.
NIXIHOST – WEB HOSTING SERVICE FOR YOUR BLOG
Nixihost is a web hosting company that I stumbled across during the early days of my web hosting research for Wok & Kin. It’s extremely affordable and an amazing way to start your blogging journey! You’ll immediately get access to creating a domain (the house to your website). The best part? They are available 24 hours, 7 days a week for any issues you may come across on your site, which is really handy because hiccups can strike anywhere, at any time!
There will be more resources to come! As I learn I will keep updating this list to ensure that you continue to get personally tested and trusted resources!
Lots of love,
